Thank you
for loving me all the way
for being there from day to day
for never breaking my heart
for showing me off to the whole town
for keeping me warm and snug
for constantly giving me a hug
for getting me to giggle and laugh
for helping me feel greater than half
for bringing me up when i am down
for not giving me permission to frown
for making me always feel great
and most of all, for laughing at all my stupid jokes
i'm just sorry it took me this long
to find out i was wrong
searching for that special someone
when i had it all along
